The Methodology

Tim's coaching draws on three distinct influences: the Spanish academy system — JC Ferrero Equelite and Sanchez-Casal — the British LTA structure, and the family academy his father built in southern Spain. Not just credentials. A philosophy tested across countries, cultures and playing levels.

The Network

Connections to coaches, academies and players across the UK, Spain, USA and China. Whether it's tournament preparation, academy pathways, scholarship routes or understanding where you sit globally — that knowledge is part of what you're getting.

The Mentorship

Tim doesn't just coach strokes — he coaches players. Mindset, match play, fitness, body maintenance, nutrition, and the finer details that separate good players from great ones. The goal is helping each student reach the very best of their ability.

A lifetime in tennis, brought to Singapore.

Tennis wasn't something I came to — it was something I was born into. My father learned the game in the 1960s with wooden rackets. He ran a tennis programme in the Middle East before returning to the UK, eventually becoming an LTA Master Coach Level 5.

At seven, our family moved to Spain. I trained at JC Ferrero Equelite in Alicante and Sanchez-Casal in Barcelona. My father built our own courts in southern Spain and ran a family tennis academy there. My brother and sister earned Division 1 NCAA scholarships in Texas.

I qualified through the LTA alongside my studies at Cambridge, then ran a tennis club with a close friend and mentor who handed over full responsibility to me. That shaped what it means to lead a programme, not just coach in one.

“Throughout my journey I’ve been fortunate to have many business and tennis mentors — each one leaving something behind that I carry into every session. What I bring to the court today is a product of all of them.” — Tim Lee, Head Coach & Founder
